Since over a month, the government schools have moved to online classes but students who cannot afford a smartphone, have been excluded from academic activities. To bridge this gap, the district education department will be experimenting with smartphone donation where people can drop off their old handsets for students who don’t have one, starting off the trial with Gurugram.
